Have you ever felt lonely?  I’m sure each of us has felt lonely a times.  In my own experience, I’ve found that you don’t have to be alone to feel lonely.  Even in the crowd of people, the sense of invisibility or little value can overshadow you.  You begin to ask, “Does anyone notice me?  Does anyone care?”

30 Million Bricks!

The largest building in the world constructed from bricks is the Malbork Castle in Poland.  It was built in the 13th century by the Teutonic Order as a fortress.  The castle boasts a whopping 30 million bricks!  That’s incredible.  This certainly was a formidable fortress in its day, and now is a beautiful historical site.

Gone Snorkeling

Have you ever been to beautiful beach with bright white sand and ocean water clear as glass?  Its absolutely beautiful, and a reminder of God’s creative beauty.  Our boat (not mine, but the one our team had rented) pulled to a stop off the coast of Barbados.  We had spent a week under the hot sun playing sports with kids and sharing Jesus as often as we could.  Now we got the opportunity to literally cool off in the Atlantic.  Our guides handed each of us a life jacket and snorkel.  In just a few minutes we’d be swimming with amazingly colored fish and sea turtles!
